The Pixel 2 does a great job stabilising video but in low light, especially at 4K, the footage tends to get quite noisy. This is mainly because the Pixel 2 tries to brighten up the scene as much as possible by boosting the ISO, which gives you a brighter scene for sure, but at the cost of noise. This is done intentionally, Knight explains.

“That is a tradeoff we think a lot about. We tried to strike a balance of the two," he says. "If you compared the Pixel 2 camera to other mobile cameras, you’ll see that we’re brighter. It’s easy to make the noise go away if you just make the image dark. We decided that we rather let the user see the scene more clearly, by making it brighter, even if that means there is some more noise.” Knight further says that 1080p video should be a bit less noisy compared to 4K, since there’s more headroom to do heavy weight processing, compared to 4K.

Another feature that’s missing in the Pixel 2 is 60fps support at 4K, something that the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X boast off. “4K at 60[fps], unfortunately, is not something we’re going to bring to Pixel 2," says Knight. "For future products, we’ll consider it certainly. But for Pixel 2, 4K 30 and 1080 60 is the video we plan to support.” This limitation seems to have more to do with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset than anything else though.

How To Fix the Broken iOS 11 Calculator In Iphone x

How To Fix the Broken iOS 11 Calculator In Iphone x - In the event that you've refreshed to iOS 11.1, regardless of whether you have an iPhone X or an iPhone 5S, you'll see that Apple's Calculator application can't stay aware of your counts. That is an on the grounds that a bug has truly backed it off with the goal that operation catches won't generally trigger when you squeeze them. Fortunately, there's something you can do about it.

To start with, before getting to the fix, how about we better clarify what the iOS 11 Calculator glitch is, and that is best down with a couple of cases of some parallel operations.

When performing mathematical calculations fast like you normally would, 1 + 2 + 3 would equal 24 instead of 6 because it won't register the second addition sign before you tap 3 and equals. Likewise, if you try to enter 5 x 2 x 3 quickly, you won't get 30, you'll end up with 115 after you hit the equals button.

On the off chance that you utilize the iOS 11 Calculator a great deal on your iPhone, at that point this is an enormous arrangement. Also, in the event that you can hardly wait for Apple to push out a fix for this glitch in a future refresh, there's something you can do at the present time to settle it — other than tapping realllllly slooooowwww.

3 Ways Fix the Broken iOS 11 Calculator In Iphone x

1. Join the Beta Program

Apple has already fixed this issue in the iOS 11.2 beta, and it's still working on the latest iOS 11.2 beta 2 version. Hopefully, Apple won't wait until the end of November to release this patch to everyone and will instead include it in an iOS 11.1.1 update soon, along with the fix to the "i" keyboard glitch.

But if you need a fix now, joining the beta program is your best option. You can join the beta program either as a developer or a regular user via the Apple Beta Software Program open to the public. To see how, check out our full guide on the process.

2. Use Spotlight Search

While you're in an ideal situation simply utilizing the Calculator at a slower pace, you can likewise utilize Spotlight Search to perform math figurings. To get to it, simply swipe down on the screen when you're on a home screen page.
It's not quick at all since you need to switch between the numbered console and alternate characters, yet worth specifying regardless. This would just work better for you on the off chance that you introduce and utilize an outsider console, for example, The Math Keyboard.

3. Use Another Calculator

If you don't want to join a beta to fix a bug when you could possibly end up with more bugs throughout your system, and you don't want to use Spotlight with a third-party keyboard, then your last option is to just use another calculator app.

There are a ton of them on the iOS App Store, so just search for one that looks good and suits your needs. Obviously, you won't be able to use the Control Center shortcut to open it up, but you can't win at everything (except maybe math).

Some of the best-rated free ones in the iOS App Store include The Calculator, Calculator+ (which also hides photos and videos), and Calculator #. There are also more feature-heavy calculators that cost money, such as Soulver ($2.99) and PCalc ($9.99), but I'd only recommend those if you're taking advanced math classes or deal with mathematical equations like every day.

While you're better off just using the Calculator at a slower pace, you can also choose to use Spotlight Search to perform math calculations. To access it, just swipe down on the screen when you're on a home screen page.

It's not very fast at all since you have to switch between the numbered keyboard and the other characters, but worth mentioning nonetheless. This would only work better for you if you choose to install and use a third-party keyboard such as The Math Keyboard.
